Ad platform Extreme Reach acquires BrandAds

Video ad platform Extreme Reach has completed its acquisition of video ad intelligence company BrandAds, which provides a third-party video analytics solution to brand marketers. Extreme Reach said the acquisition will provide digital video insights that measure a campaign’s impact in real-time.

Facebook video content views soar 550% in March; online ad growth spikes

Facebook increased its video content views more than 550% in March, compared to a year ago, and also nearly tripled the amount of time viewers spent watching videos on its site, a new report says. Meanwhile, online video ad views more than doubled in March, with U.S. Internet viewers seeing 28.7 billions ads, compared to 13.2 billion a year ago, an increase of 117%.

As shoppers move online, brands need to focus on omnichannel strategies
