Ooyala Named Best Online Video Analytics Solution at Brand Video Awards

July 12, 2012

Ooyala is thrilled to announce that we recently took home the award for Best Video Analytics Solution at the first ever Brand Video Awards in London, England.

We take analytics very seriously here at Ooyala (a recent ROTH Capital Partners report concluded that “Ooyala has the best analytics engine in the video asset management space”). It is an honor to have our innovative work with Big Data and online video analytics recognized with this Brave Award.

The BRAVES are “the only awards ceremony to recognise and reward the use of video by brands.” Companies were nominated in three main categories: Campaign, Content and Technical.

Ooyala took home the top prize for the Best Video Analytics Solution in the Technical category. Quoting from the BRAVES website:
This award will recognise the best video analytics provider. The judges will reward the provider that can show it has provided brands with the best insights in order for brand video to succeed. Judges will look for insights that prove the power of the analytics solution.
Ooyala is committed to delivering insights into viewer engagement to leading brands, marketers and creative agencies around the world. Our robust, modular, and easy to use tools help companies like Dell, Whole Foods, and Victoria’s Secret use online video to connect with their customers in new and innovative ways. From monitoring social sharing on Facebook and Twitter to delivering live branded video to iPads and smart phones, Ooyala gives brands the power to create personal, engaging media experiences. (Of course, we also power online media management for entertainment and media companies like Miramax, ESPN, and the recently announced PAC-12 network).

We look forward to helping media and brands deliver data-driven media to viewers on every connected screen in the coming months.

We're excited to put this up on the trophy shelf next to our last big win, the Top 100 Americas Award from Red Herring. The Red Herring Award honors private tech companies that are “among the most innovative, unique and promising companies selected from a pool of hundreds from across the region.”
