Summer Sanders on the PAC-12 Network Launch

August 27, 2012

I caught up with Summer Sanders recently at the PAC-12 Network launch, where we discussed the new TV home of the conference of champions, the power of TV-Everywhere, and even danced like robots!

On the PAC-12 Network Launch:

"It's a privilege to be here. It's just such a fun day. There's a lot of excitement, and a lot of anxiety . . . but to be a part of it and watch it happen is really a special moment."

"There are six regional networks and one national cable network. When we go for it, we go for it."

"This is more exciting than prom."

On PAC-12 Athletics:

"It's amazing when you think of the depth of talent that we have in the PAC-12. Not just in the big sports, like football and basketball, but in all of the other sports that were just showcased in the Olympic games."

On connecting PAC-12 fans around the country with the sports they care about:

"Anytime, anywhere, it's all available to them . . . My dad was searching and searching for Stanford football games on TV last year. He doesn't have to search anymore. He knows exactly where to find them."

On TV-Everywhere and launching the PAC-12 Digital Network:

"Online TV Everywhere. Anytime. Anyhow. Anyway. Watch the conference of champions on your iEverything."

Check out the above video for the full interview, and thanks so much to Summer for taking the time to chat with VideoMind.
