October 19, 2012

The PAC-12 Now iPhone app landed in the Apple App Store today, connecting college sports fans with the content they care about on the go.

According to the press release, Pac-12 Now offers:
--- Unique programming guide for easy navigation to live and upcoming content
--- Condensed games and other on-demand video
--- Continuously updated editorial and feature video programming available to all fans
--- Live scoreboard providing the most up-to-date scores

Users can view all seven networks, switch between multiple live events and enjoy coverage not available on their regional television network. Additionally, fans have access to an unprecedented amount of video content produced by Pac-12 Networks and our member universities, including highlights, feature stories, game recaps, and exclusive Pac-12 Now video content.

Pac-12 Network was the first channel to launch a traditional pay-TV channel in conjunction with a full digital broadcast experience. The mobile iPhone app follows the Pac-12 iPad app and allows fans from around the world to stay up to date with the teams and sports from the Conference of Champions.
"The launch of the Pac-12 Now app for iPhone and iPod Touch is a key component to our goal of providing fans access to Pac-12 Networks programming and content wherever they are," said David Aufhauser, general manager of Pac-12 Digital. "We're proud to have produced a product that meets that standard and will continue to broaden our reach by creating more innovative and state-of-the art viewing experiences."
