Announcing Ooyala's Q4 Online Video Index

Ooyala’s Video Index Report is back and better than ever! It’s full of insights that will help you better engage your viewers and make more money with online video. 

Some key findings include:

  • Non-desktop plays doubled in the fourth quarter. Video on tablets, mobile devices and connected TVs will continue to grow massively throughout 2012.
  • Big screens are for big content. Videos longer than 10 minutes accounted for more than half the hours played on connected TV devices & gaming consoles (CTV & GC).
  • Facebook continues to beat Twitter in video sharing. For every video shared via Twitter in Q4, more than 10 were shared on Facebook, according to Ooyala data.
